CHAPTER FIVE  Agricultural Fame

The experiments at both Meadowlands Farm and also the Hopper kitchen garden were amazingly successful. Hopper the Hare and
Gerry G. Groundhog were both being persued by the Agricultural Press for interviews and appearances on RFD TV and in the trade magazines. Not every farmer had or could aquire the underground, or as the writer in a Farmlife article called it “UNDERWORLD SKILLS” but hares and groundhogs that had a bit of land themselves were planting and growing root veggies and “Pulling Down Huge Profits from Underworld Farming.”
Hopper started the “Looking Up” charity for small farmers that suffered droughts or blights that wiped out their crops and other poor farm families that required monetary assistance.
3G’s became even more famous than his cousin Phil every day of the year except on February 2nd of course.
And the crops of carrots and lettuce and many other veggies just kept getting better and better which is what farming is really all about anyhow!
